I have used this portfolio quite a bit. I include the link in my e-mail signature and included it on student business cards I had created. I also direct individuals, such as fieldwork supervisors, to it during the initial, e-introduction phase. In updating my portfolio, I have realized that there is a lot of great information that we can include here that would not necessarily be appropriate to share on a resume, but that nonetheless is an excellent representation of who we may be as practitioners and employees.
I will continue to use this portfolio as a student and - soon - as as new practitioner. I will continue to add experiences, interests, and one day will use it to highlight continuing education. I think it will also be a great place to share my capstone work and use it as a way to connect with other students and practitioners who may be interested in primary care.
